• AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G IF-ED (2.9x) - heavy and expensive but VR is great

• AF Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8D - versatile medium telephoto lens for photomicrography; close-up to approx. 31 cm/12.4 inches

• AF-S Zoom-Nikkor 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G (3.5x) - Closest focusing: 38 cm/1.25 ft.

• AF-S Teleconverter TC-20E II (2x) - US$339.95 at B&H

• A wide-angle lens in the DX group, 10.5 perhaps

• AF-S VR 24-120 f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED to replace the 24-85...
